AGC PreCast Solutions has signed a new framework partnership with the Ghana Highway Authority to support ongoing road and bridge works across multiple regions. The agreement establishes AGC PreCast as a preferred supplier for selected precast infrastructure components on 14 active projects, including drainage structures, retaining systems, and bridge-related elements.
Framework Scope
The supply framework covers standard and custom precast culverts, parapet units, bridge beams, headwalls, kerb components, and retaining wall sections. By using standardised details where possible, project teams can reduce design repetition and shorten procurement timelines for recurring infrastructure packages.
Engineering coordination will take place on a project-by-project basis to confirm loading criteria, span arrangements, reinforcement detailing, and installation methodology. AGC PreCast's technical office will work directly with authority consultants and main contractors to align production drawings with approved road design packages.
Execution Benefits
For road projects operating under traffic management constraints, precast elements can reduce the duration of in-situ works and limit disruption around bridge crossings and drainage upgrades. The controlled factory environment also supports tighter dimensional tolerances, which is important for rapid installation on heavily programmed civil works.
The partnership strengthens AGC PreCast's role in national infrastructure delivery and expands the company's public sector portfolio. Production planning for the first call-off packages is already underway, with dispatches scheduled to support corridor works before the peak rainy season.
